WOODBLOCK (*practice) explores the intersection between tattoo and textile.
Miriam emphasises that her tattoo technique has its origins in the textile world; for her, one discipline cannot exist without the other. Her work reimagines the traditional woodblock, giving it a new purpose and voice.
She sees evolution as inherent to craft; to her, the contemporary is nothing but tradition in motion.
