Drawing from her experience in hand‑block printing, Miriam incorporates wooden blocks into her tattoo practice, using them as stencils for tattooing. Each session becomes a hands-on exploration of pattern and meaning through her large collection of blocks.

Collaboration is central to her process. Just as tattoos and textiles influence one another, Miriam transforms each session into a shared creative dialogue with her clients. Neither the client nor Miriam knows exactly how the tattoo will take shape.

The design unfolds together, in collaboration, right on the spot, requiring openness, trust, and attentive listening from both.
