Miriam emphasises that her tattoo technique has its origins in textiles; for her, one discipline cannot exist without the other. Her work reimagines the traditional woodblock, giving it a new purpose and voice.

The textile, in almost every civilization, protects, tells stories, and connects. It is a living surface where matter and the symbolic, identity and environment, time and memory are intertwined.

In both disciplines, each piece is a continuation of the same gesture: printing, marking, recording narratives.
